President's Agenda
Exchange Student – Tricia Blasdell – Angela Imming is fully Vetted as a host family. We are getting a boy, MAX, from Bankok Thailand, arriving 8/8/18 and will be 11th grade. Approved and $100 monthly allowance plus school meals – Motion set by Kevin DeWaele and 2nd by Biddy Essenpreis and approved. Will need to set up a bank account and cell phone when he arrives.
Also, need to bring up at the next general meeting as we have to decide if we want and exchange student for the following year by 6/19/2018
Literacy Baseball game – only sold 16 tickets so far.
New business –
July 3rd meeting – Shaun’s first meeting…BBQ at new Pavillion – Angela Kim will reserve pavilion with the city.
International project – each1 feed1 – Angela Kim is looking into and will get more info for approval
Other business –
Kevin Dewaele – Honor Those Who Served our Country – Bricks - $300 motion from Maura Donnelly, 2nd from Angela Kim, motion approved; Kevin Dewaele is getting with Brian Knobloch about the design for the block.
Schweitzerfest parade on Sunday only – meet at 4:30.
Maura is being inducted as DG in Heimburg Germany – will ask members to go too.
